Every dollar donated goes directly to train an individual with disability to train their service dog or to receive a specific trained service dog.

Our programs are run by a very dedicated group of volunteers and we depend heavily on donations to fulfill our mission and secure our future.

Types of Donation

General Donation

General donations are given to help cover operation expenses to help pay the costs of training our service dogs and transitioning them to their new partner. And the costs of operating our Therapy Dog Programs. You may want to donate as a Special Occasion Donation honoring someone special for the holidays, for a birthday, or for another special occasion.

Employer Matching Gift Programs

Did you know that many corporate employers will match a charitable donation to a 501(c)(3) and double or even triple the amount of your gift with the benefit going to Walk Forward? So please check with your employer’s Human Resources department to see if they have a Matching Gifts Program. If so, Walk Forwards' EIN is 92-1223342.

Make life better for people and dogs

With tax-deductible, donation to Walk Forward Inc you will be helping dogs and people live their best lives. What your donations will be used for:

$20 will buy one leash for one dog

$50 will buy special high value treats for the dogs for two weeks

$100 will help buy a vest for a dog

$150 one private dog training session

$150 buys dog food for one month

$500 will cover the cost for grooming for one dog for one year

$550 will give a dog veterinary care / heartworm prevention / flea and tick prevention.

$600 will cover the cost for a mobility harness for one dog

$2000 will buy a new puppy for our program!

$3,800 will supply food, heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention, gear, grooming, dog toys and treats

$7,600 will supply all needs for one dog throughout his/her entire journey of becoming a service dog. You can name the puppy and meet the recipient if you would like

$16,000 will buy a fully trained service dog

$20,000 will buy a fully trained medical alert service dog
